The legend of the Baron Struve, who lived before the revolution
Legend has it that before the revolution of 1917, the estate of Baron Karl Struve was located in the village of Oreshkovo. After the events of 1917, he fled with his family to Latvia, allegedly hiding his wealth in a secret room underground before leaving. Old-timers remember the manor house, and the preserved pond and park still keep the secret of this treasure.
